Gardening with young children helps their development in a multitude of ways. The art of planting the seeds and watching them grow gives children a sense of purpose, responsibility, and promotes their love of nature. Studies show that when children have contact with soil during activities like digging and planting, overall improves one's mood and overall happiness. At Tribe Home Daycare, children will pratice locomotor skills, body management skills, and object control while moving from one place to the other carrying tools, soil, and water pails.
We aim to encourage reading not just to the children in our care, but also to the rest of the community.

A Little Free Library is a free book-sharing box where anyone may take a book or share a book. They function on the honor system. You do not need to share a book in order to take one. If you take a book or two from a little library, try to bring some to share to that same library, or another in your area, when you can.
